The hot furnace preheating furnace is a kind of low-quality fuel (mainly refers to blast furnace gas, hot gas, tail gas and other low-calorific value fuel) or air, through a heat exchanger, in the high-temperature flue gas of the heating furnace. Or the air temperature increases, generally to 300-900 degrees. Thereby, the actual combustion temperature of the inferior fuel or the sensible heat of the air is increased, and high-temperature calcination or other processes of the inferior fuel are achieved, thereby replacing the superior fuel. The substitution of low-quality fuels for high-quality fuels is realized, thereby greatly saving fuel costs. At the same time, it also reduces the emission of low-quality fuel or exhaust gas and reduces pollution. It is a very energy-saving and environmentally friendly new process and new technology. The 200 kt/a methanol plant preheating furnace was originally designed as a vertical cylindrical tube furnace. The radiant section preheats the steam and coke oven gas entering the reformer, and the convection section preheats the oxygen and steam entering the reformer. In order to meet the reaction conditions of the reformer; the boiler water is preheated in the upper part of the convection section to recover the waste heat of the flue gas. It can be seen that the preheating furnace is an important equipment in the methanol plant.
